A HAMB Engagement...

Sadly - we are *going* to a wedding Rust Revival weekend... in Virginia. But they are really good friends and I don't want to miss it.

No Rust Revival, Symco or Pileup wedding... sorry folks. I plan weddings and special events for a living so it's got to be top notch and all fancy like. We are having it at a private club up in Madison. There will be a few hot rods there I am sure between Bryan, his Dad and some Czars and co. I have a HUGE (no really, huge) family traveling from the East Coast so I am not sure how many HAMBers our budget (and capacity of the place) will allow us to include.

Nick - with the job market the way it is I won't be moving any time soon! Wedding is not until April of 2011.

Larry- Christmas... who knows where we will be? After this year's debacle between my mother and Logan airport I am not sure my Christmas tradition will live on... We'll have to come up with something new.

Just saying if you are looking for a venue that is a NICE place. Greek revival constuction with a nice sized ballroom. HUGE kitchen for the caterers.

So this makes the FIRST confirmed engagement from the 2009 Shakedown. Not to mention this is the fifth confirmed hookup from the show. One of the Appleton boys is dating a roller derby girl, Meaghan Owens and Krooser's son are a couple, Jason and Jeri are dating, and I have heard of a couple more.

What the heck is in the water up there?

We will offer you the Chapel on the grounds for your wedding if you wanted to do it during the show in Aug!!!
