A wonderfully fitting tribute to someone who obviously touched a number of folks while he was here.

It being at his car club is really fitting. A great place for his friends to gather around while engaging in some true “bench” racing.

    Great job!

That's a great tribute and memorial, good job my man! Condolences on the death of your FIL, he sounds like a great guy, and he sure had a couple of great cars.

Sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that everyone that our departed loved ones have touched allows them to live on through all of us. That is a very nice tribute to his memory. R.I.P. Dan

So I finally got my father in law’s memorial bench done it will be placed at his car clubs club house next Friday and his celebration of life will be Saturday. Here’s a few pictures of the finished product, I miss you Dan! I think it has a huge walleye on the other end! 9485A5FC-6835-4365-9188-EE35A923D921.jpeg 8C6F3694-D038-45A1-B35A-2E475A35DF3A.jpeg 19A466EC-12D9-4AC3-8767-94F6A7FAA1CD.jpeg Dans grandson Jade has a CNC mill and created these plaques made from stainless steel for his grandpa. He did one hell of a job.

You can't apply logic to tweakers. My neighbor is involved with the volunteer group that maintains a local park. They used to lose brass dedication memorial plaques all the time. Ended up replacing them with plastic ones.
