    It's a new world with the car at this level (on my knees). "Shifty" came by and got the flathead running a lot better. I might be ready to cruise the neighborhood.

    Yeah Rob on the brass trim. Very tricky stuff. The final fix was new brass sheets (thanks NOFIN) a thorough cleaning/burnishing with course steel wool. The secret to making it work was acrylic clear (not urethane or lacquer). They will be installed soon.

    I remember that post on getting the new brass sheet you needed, was just wonding if the problem had been solved .. look forward to see the car with the last finishing stainless and brass side trim.. looking good my friend !
