One of the problems we had was a partial look at the striping at the antenna. We had to study the data available on Jefferies. This would be early Jefferies. Jr. is about the same age(these kids!). We had to take what we had and do what we thought he had done at that time on this car.
This is Scott “The Shark” Draper who did a great job trying to capture 1957.

The Kustom car god has smiled on this project and blessed the build, as opposed to sitting cross-legged and getting angry.

    I think that's what Jerry meant. :D

The car is beautiful, and you deserve a medal for sticking with it.

It's been over 30 years since I did any of this stuff (and that was 60s-70s cars). No frenched head lights, tail lights, fins, delicate little hood scoops, Merc shell, hooded fenders, etc, etc.. Oh! And they all had to be done in a particular way.

The realization that I was in over my head was constantly with me. The calling out for help was an ongoing thing (almost daily).

This creative exercise set the stage for an enhanced, unique relationship with the creator. Specific? None other than the awesome and wondrous Jesus Christ.

When Luke came out to do the mag shoot he mentioned that the tires looked underinflated in the shop. When we got to the shoot site it was obvious that they were. Pumpin' em' up gave us an extra inch at the lakers. Now there's no scrape going out the driveway. Even at this level. It's way cool and makes life a little easier.
