That looks really nice. With any luck I'll be picking up a 54 chevy this coming weekend. Nice to see a low car handling these roads around here. This past winter really destroyed them, made them worse than usual.

Yeah I am. Not as easy this time as we lost quite a few of the guys I've cooked for and got close to over there.

Now if this damn rain would slow up some I could do some work on my project.

i just watched Restrepo the other day and thought about that loss, and you, and how one must have to deal with it. cannot be easy. glad you're home.

it mighta. but don't let it get out. people might not think i am such a bad*** if they know i drive around in a SAFE car...

the roads are in tough shape. i think the skirts give it the illusion of being lower than it is. which is good. it looks low AND i get to actually drive it.

thanks rocky. i like it too.

    thanks!

  21. Wow! That really looks great! I had a set of flush-skirts on mine but they didn't fit worth a damn. I found some of the other type that fit over the top, they cover the rust better on my POS, ha!

Have you tried to take a rear tire off yet now that it is lowered? It is a process on mine.

    i haven't. hoping i dont have too...

i had to m***age the skirts some to get them to fit like they do. when the car gets paint, i'll probably have someone better than me get them straighter. but they'll do for now.
