Hi everyone, I am working on a volkswagen roadster done oldstyle. I spend more time thinking about what I am gonna do than doing it, but it is on the road, as long as it's not raining and above 40 degrees. I don't drive it every day but the goal includes a carson top and curtains as it does not have side windows (right now it doesn even have a windshield!) Little by little it is getting done.

It is very fun to drive.

Actually the whole thing keeps me sane. My wife bought it for me to replace the earlier bug which was rusting away. The original was a gift for graduation from seminary. It is great to have her really support my car mania.

I meant old style as in hot rodded in a 50's 60's flavor. Bias plys on smoothys and baby moons, L78's in back and 5.60's in front. Wide whitewalls. dropped front end. chopped windshield and no top or fenders or bumpers. 36 ford headlights, 27 ford tail lights.

I have an album here somewhere
