Hey guys . I see alot of you running 16s on your rpu's , tubs , t-buckets , shoeboxes , A bombs, etc. and am amazed by how many of you have different styles in blackwall tires. Some of your tires are bad *** in design and tread print and some are the readily available ones that I see for sale that I can find . Here is my question-s are all of these tires going to be in the $500.00 up range ? And the $10,000.00 dollar question , ? If all of these new tires are using todays technology in tire production, then why are tubes so important? any insight will be helpfull guys and truly appreciated .My rims are 1950 Ford 16 x 4.5 . Thanx again . swaZZie

  2. I bought Coker Firestone Deluxe Champions because they look cool. They were like $450 with tubes... 7.00 x 16 in the rear and 5.00's in the front... check their web site www.cokertire.com

Wow I hope I get $10,000 the older wheels do not have the raised portion in the bead area to keep the tire seated. If you pulled some Rockford moves without tubes the tire could come off the wheel easier.

WOW! I leave the computer for a couple hours and . . . . . . Thanx again fellas for the pics and the info. I figured guys would like to talk about their tires since they are so important in end result. All the help is truly appreciated. Now i think Iaunderstand the bead lock theoryafter inspecting those rims a little closer.I'll be getting tubes for sure , I was a huge rockford files fan .lol . swaZZie
