Saw this on Ebay, I am assuming it is for Early Hemi, but can't figure out what transmission it might fit, either originally or with the plate that looks to have been added... ANYONE GOT AN IDEA ????? THANKS
FC is a Chevy V8, when you use the cast iron Powerglide adapter ring. I only know what transmissions are up to -51, which is a Chrysler trans. Which jibes with what the box says, 55-up Chevy V8, Chrysler transmission. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/tech-transdapt-adapter-numbers.78455/
Sorry to seem thick, but to confirm, if you have the early powerglide adapter piece, you can bolt this to a small block Chevy and then hook up a stock Chrysler Stick Tranny ?????
Les...thats a real oddball piece. You have to have the cast iron starter plate and it looks like it's for Valiant/Lancer manual trans...the steel bracket is what the "K" is in the part number. It's original to that adapter.
I wasn’t sure on the part number,,,,but . I knew it wasn’t for a Mopar,,,,,,the bulge for the starter nose was on the wrong side . Tommy
