A little more on Deuce Day Phoenix...

We've actually met a couple of times over the years, but I probably still couldn't pick you out of a crowd! The last time we talked was at Deuce day a couple of years ago when we had Ron Olmstead's whole fleet out. (The panel, the 3 window and the "holey roller" 5w on the trailer) I'm terrible with names and faces though.

 

I wish I had run into you too! Your pickup was beautiful and caught my eye quickly on Saturday. Looks like you have gotten "settled in" up there! Anytime you're down in Phoenix, give me a yell and stop by. I'll show you my increadibly less impressive shop!

 

I don't, unfortunately. I do have one more of the Whizzer bike in the back, though. I hate to admit it, but the panel lives over at Ron's place (actually belongs to a good friend of his) and I see it so often that I kind of don't think about it. If I'm over in the next day or so I'll snap a few more for you.

 

Last couple of things to post. Years ago when ElPolacko and I started travelling a lot to shows throughout the Southwest, we started a tradition of shooting goofy shots of the inside of the car to kill the boardom of I-10s length. When Ron and I were heading out on Saturday I remembered that and snapped a few...

 

Damn! I had some time after the show since the other 7 guys from Prescott left early at 1:30. I stuck around until it was over to get my max "Deuce fix"! If my brain had been working I would have gotten together with you. I just checked my phone and your number was there so it would have been simple to give you a call. Next time I'll remember. I'll look for you at GoodGuys in a few weeks.

I saw your car there too. Hell, I've got an idea! We can put a life size cut out of us (pretty scary, huh!) in front of our cars so we can recognize each other and our cell phone number so we can find each other. Like I told Chip, we'll have to get together at GoodGuys in a few weeks. I'll be helping put on the Deuce Doins there for the Mid-West Deuces on Saturday so we'll have a HAMBER Deuce get together there.

Sounds good to me. Will have the 40 there inside and the Deuce outside by the Motor Home. We always get a 3 day spot in the "Triangle" RV park up against the fence so we can park on the pavement over night and enjoy ourselves and not fight the traffic going home each night. Usually have some friends that do the same so we all can get together in the evening, have a drink or 2 and lie to each other!! LOL The MH is a Tan 78 GMC. he ones that used the Olds Toronada front suspension. We love it.

That sounds like a good plan! I think I'll bring my little Burro camper down with the pickup and do that too. I see they have showers too. Which RV Lot do you park in? T or N? Have you made reservations yet?
