A little O/T, but car related

I had the opportunity to fly from Ohio with my oldest son (12) and trailer my Dad's '68 Chrylser Newport back from Calif. My Dad has had a series of heart attacks and can't do the work on it, so I volunteered...

It was a great chance to spend time with my son and do something good for my father as well as keep a land yacht (the car is 18 feet long!) from the crusher. Not a cl***ic, but still it's the first new car he and my mom ever bought and he can't bring himself to part with it.

The car isn't my cup of tea, but it is a 383 Mopar! The body is in great shape, but the drivetrain is needing some TLC, so I'll be tearing into it this week.

Glad to hear you will be preserving it. Family history is something to be cherished!
