Good to hear from ya Romain...working on that bumper now.

I kept the piece that comes off the end of the stock quarters that I'll weld back on once I know how far back I need to move the bumper bracket opening. Then I get to make a splashpan to fit...Chopold's did a great thread on using a hammerform to make one that's gonna be a lifesaver.


Any of you guys who want to do something like this, but think you can't, I say go for it! Do your homework, ask the right questions, take some risks, and you might just surprise yourself. I'm a hack compared to a lot of guys on here...I had to cut out pieces that didn't look right (there are still a couple that are bothering me), and I don't have the $$ for all the fancy metalshaping tools, but I'm stoked I did it myself.
