Oh I gotta get me one, and im a HUGE baseball fan so this makes it even better.

Ryan is it possible to make this a sticky so that the ones that want a hat will be made aware when they "officially" go on sale

Yeah but, those dudes in the pictures kind of look like ***** heads with those hats on... I whispered that so that they wouldn't hear me, jump out of the pictures, and kick my ***.

And how come they called them the boys of summer if they all look like they are freezing their ***es off?

BTW, by slightly more modern I don't mean that these are gonna be high crowned flat brimmed Jesse James hats (sorry jesse). Trust... or don't... This is for me. Not you! :) hehehe

    Ryan,

Any chance of a custom 7 7/8 or even a 8 for the fellas with the large melons? I always start every season with a new Dodger hat in size 8. Yes it's a little big, but at the end of the season/summer with the heat and sweat these do shrink and get tighter.

Right now a Dodger hat is $33.99 plus shipping. So a HAMB hat is easily worth $40 if not more.

    Thanks,
    Sean

Dude... the tradition of starting each season with a Dodger hat kind of rules... Like kind of cooler than having a TJJ/HAMB hat. But I dunno, these things are pretty damn rad.

I'll see if they can do the cuts for larger sizes.

Just a tip, those pics are from much earlier than the 40's or 50's. Most are early century to the 20's and 30's I would guess. Still a very cool idea Ryan, I would be in for one of each in size 7 1/2. I have a cooperstown vintage Red Sox hat and it has a very small bill, will these have one similar to that or more along the lines of the caps of the 50's. (edit: I see the pic of the sample now, question answered.)

Yeah, I know... I just liked the images. :)

And for those of you that like early notice, here's an unrelated heads up on something else... I'll give you a 24 hour head start. :)

I really like this idea, Ryan, even though I don't wear hats. This just might persuade me to!

This shot reminds me of Tom Hanks on the movie "A League of Their Own" :)

I love them but unfortunately I know better then to buy hats before I try them on. I have been bitten in the *** with hats (and shirts) when I don't try them on. If you by some chance have them when I can try them on in person I would love to scoop one up!!!

You've got cl*** out the *** Ryan!

Oh... and I was just told that the cut we are using is the exact cut most teams used in 1957...

I don't blame you for that a bit... I'm gonna do a fancy sizing chart that will help a bit, but... you know how that goes.

BTW, where the hell were you at the gnrs?

Ha!!! I was there dude!! Skipped the meet and greet (forgot again) and was making my way through looking at the eye candy. Fighting a pounding head ache for most of the day but still had a great time. I think I just kept getting ****ed into the action and was suffering from sensory overload in the most blissful way possible.

I was at Bobby's on Friday evening and Bob's Broiler that night too!

As for the hats, I might give it a go and if it doesn't work I can always use that ****er as a hanger....the wool might be a bit hot since we are expecting it to be 100º soon:D;) and I know you folk in Austin are expecting the same.

  27. i'll take one of each. size 7 1/4
    thanks.

Hey $35 is very reasonable.. I buy those "high crowned flat brimmed Jesse James hats" (well not Jesse's but other New Era hats) for usually more than $35, a lot of times more than $45 if they are rare... One 7 3/4 of each please...
