After trolling the site for some time now I decided it was time to become a member. Based in south east Idaho where rolling around in something other then a farm truck is a rare sight.
wow thats cool, welcome to the h.a.m.b.., from florida, what is your project ,any cheap land for sale out your way? looking to relocate, pm
Thanks guys! Current project is a '60 Falcon 4 door, sorta multi-purpose build between a drag car and a cruiser. Last car I built with my Dad before he passed was a '64 Futura which I had to sell in order to start a business. Found this one and it's perfect. My 3 sons love it! Previous builds include a '69 El Camino, '36 Dodge, a lot of different road race/track cars and a ton of SEMA builds. Idaho is full of cheap land to be had. Bought my house 4 years ago, 4200 sq feet, 1/2 acre, 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 8 person full bar, 6 person hot tub mounted in the floor of the master bedroom, only downside is a 1 1/2 car garage (not big enough). Ready to move in, I have only replaced the dishwasher in 4 years. The house cost $120,000! The downside to Idaho is that while the cost of living is dirt cheap the pay scale is lower. Guys that have the same job as me make $200+ in CA and I make about $80 but it equals out in the end because it is all so cheap. So if you are good making less then you do now, there are ALL sorts of opportunities out here. And on the positive, there is no vehicle inspections, smog or any of that BS
