Building a 31 A Coupe and will be using a Chrysler Minivan bench seat, that has been decided. My question is, anyone have a idea as how to separate this seat so that I have a bottom and backrest, as I want to install the battery under the seat on the passenger side. This setup would be similar to the original seat/backrest.
you must have an early minivan seat thats all welded together.. the late 90s early 00 vans have seats that are 2 peices with bolt on brackets that still dont fold, but you can take the brackets from one of the wider seats that does fold and bolt them on it. Then you have a folding narrow seat. good luck. I used seat tracks from a D50 to make it adjustable too they worked well.
