It used to have a spun aluminum tank, as you can see in the pic.

Here is a link to an Alliance vendor that sells spun aluminum tanks, but I personally like the speedster tank with the br*** cap! http://www.thehotrodcompany.com/shopnow/show_dept.asp

hey there...I'm the "wifey". I've had a profile on here for a while, but never had much of a reason to get on the website. I cannot wait to start up on the new modified and do some work. It's a good starter for me since so much is already done. I'll be on here more, for sure. I'll keep you all posted on the progress...

That car is NOT the "leftover special". It is a car that Jason (killer) started, I traded a 60 F-100 to Jason for the unfinished car. I got it running and finished it up, getting it ***led and reg'd and so forth. It never had any name, all I called it was "the modified".

It looks like a few small changes over the past four or five years or so since I sold it at Paso Robles show. Can't recall the exact year.

I got your PM srosa707 and will get more details to you on it in a PM reply.

The engine is a 52 Ford 215 six with a Ford-O-Matic (should be called a POS-O-Matic). The first two years of that six were 215 and then it became the 223 that is real common.

    ITS A RUNNER!

We got it back last night after some SMALL ****** issues. We drove it around town for about an hour or so just checking things out. It feels real solid but i can already see a few thing that need to be done:

    1. Get it properly timed
    2. Valve cover gasket
    3. Figure out why the accelerator pump isnt working or figure out why it FEELS like its not working
    4. Put some more leafs in AND definately put some shocks in the rear; it rides like a cadillac. A cadillac with 1 inch of travel.
    5. DRIVE THE **** OUT OF IT!

Thanks for all the help and info guys. We couldnt have done it without you. Look for the car at the Blazen show and the Primer Nats!

The ride is cool as ****! Killer has some great ideas, I still have dreams of the one he built with the fenders from a Chevy truck.

blondebettie - congrats on the new ride, enjoy the piss out of it and make it your own, just dont paint it pink!
