I would also like everyone to know that there are some parts incorporated in this car for the respect and memory of Richard Riddell. I know he is watching.

  3. You think the emotions are high now wait till you wheel that baby out onto the dragstrip!!!!! Just wait you'll see >>>>.

  4. I have an idea of the emotion, the last time I remembered sitting in our '56 was about 1967 when I was 3years old being
towed up the return road at San Fernando sitting in my dads lap. I destinctly remember the blue haze inside from the blue plexi windows. The next time I sat in it was an october night in '04 after my brother in law (who retrieved it from Texas for me) rolled it out of his trailer. I hate to admit it but I started crying and my wife asking "whats wrong, you don't like it now? I told her its hard to explain, you just gotta be in my shoes.

Bruce Baskin of Baskin's Upholstery in Fresno did a beautiful job on the seats.

I made and cut the patterns of carpet because we could not move the car. Dick Baskin owner of famed Baskin's Upholstery in Fresno did a beautiful job on the edging.....I am so pleased that the Baskin Family is involved with this project.

A great moment for me fabricating the stack risers.....it's what gives this car attitude.

Also Bruce Baskin of Baskin's upholstery to the left is overseeing our progress.
