i just heard that on the radio while MikeO and i were workin on the Bug. thats too bad indeed but 93 years is one helluva long life, and he lived it to the max.
[ QUOTE ] 93 years is one helluva long life, and he lived it to the max. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, I would say he did. Not many people get as lucky in life as Reagan did, but I think he payed for it with the last ten years.
He was a great man indeed...As a kid in the 80's myself it was amazing how much influence he had on the younger generation, unlike any since.I remember watching the ***isantion attempt on TV in the Third grade. My teacher stopped the cl*** and brought a TV from from someplace to watch the news.If memory serves me right that was in 81'..Also enjoyed doing impersonations of him like my hero Joe Piscapo from SNL at the time...My kids didnt have a clue who he was..we were talking about it and they said oh that old man died.I had to explain to them,he wasnt just some old man.. Welp...we'll miss you Mr President..
Marcus, what a trip, same here. In 3rd grade and teacher comes in all sad talking about the ***ination attempt...
