    Thanks. It's my first.

  3. I notice you have what I suspect to be 5/16" bolts in as hinge pins for
mockup. What do you typically do for worn hinges and pins?
I was thinking of drilling and bushing my pillar part of the hinge,
I read the oversize pins are too big.
So I thought maybe build pins from 5/16" Gr 8 bolts and knurl
    just below the head.

I machine my own pins from stainless round bar to the size I need.

How much was it if you don't mind my asking? It suits the car perfectly, enough to give it some attitude & not a squashed appearance. Again well done!

    It's cut 2 1/4".
If you're asking how much it cost, I did the work myself. If I did one for a customer, it would start at $5,000 there is a lot of work to make it look simple.

No just curious about how much you cut it, it looks just right on your car.

  14. Fantastic work as usual. Looking forward to seeing it in person.

Has the old man done anything toward getting his roadster car back on the road yet?

He's done some. We have started taking it apart. next is rolling it over to our paint shop and getting the body back in shape. He really misses the car.

ok, yes, now that I put my old guy glasses on, it does seem to somewhat resemble a wood-based product :p

I dig the chassis & the wheel/tire combo! Not to mention how your overall theme of the car is flowing together.

I once converted a pickup of mine from auto to manual. I never got around to putting the parking brake pedal assembly back in. Most all of my family, friends, and some coworkers are still familiar with the term I coined "parking rock", which I started to carry around in the bed. I even sold the thing with the "parking rock".

Inspiration Tuesday. Well, maybe just for me. Every piece of this puzzle gets me fired up to do more! Got my new hood on. I still have several hours of perfecting how it fits, but so far I dig it. #brucesrodshop #32mafia ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1450798494.910629.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1450798504.114181.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1450798512.668331.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1450798524.157294.jpg
