Hi all, I've been checking out this site for a while and I figured I'd finally join heres some info about how I got into hotrods and cars in general. Well, it all started around 3 years ago when I started going to the local dirt track. I had been around racing my whole life, but it was around that time when I started to realize how cool racing and cars were. We started going to the track every weekend. Next year, when I turned 13, we ran into my Father's friends from a while back who were connected to the track that we were going to at the time, at a motor sports expo in January. They were looking for an assistant computer scorer and I was into computers so I figured I'd give it a shot. I worked the following season as an apprentice without pay. The next season I started work not only as the assistant scorer but as the Webmaster as well, this time with pay. And along the course of the year my Father and I had gone to quite a few car shows and I had taken quite a liking to Kustom Kulture and Pinstripping, I decided to start practicing pinstripping as well. Shortly after the end of my second season working at the Track, I bought my first cars, a 1974 AMC Gremlin and a 1959 Ford Fairlane. The Gremlin I got for $100 I always did like the way they looked because they reminded me of the late 70's early 80's Dirt Modifieds, and the Fairlane I got for $200. My father was the one who first took me to a race and a car show, I owe my love for cars and racing to him. I'm currently 15, in my Freshmen year of High School and hoping to persue a career in motor sports managment.
