Gentlemen, the "Limited edition" 30th anniversary Indy shirts are finally done! This is where i got my idea and inspiration for the concept, thanks to (Bugman) for sharing this photo in an older post: This is the pen and ink drawing i came up with: Here's a first sample with the image in gold on a black t-shirt (it will also come w/a blue image on a white tee)- and here's the new spring/summer 2008 pre-book catalog featuring the two 30th anniversary Independent truck t-shirts that will be sold in the coming year ( the other one was designed by pro skater Mark Gonzales)- This is really awesome, i'm super stoked to see an initial idea finally come to life ...hope you skateboarders and hotrodders dig it They will be available soon at your local skate shops or at: http://www.independenttrucks.com If your a shop or a buyer and want to stock/order some ...call 1-800-543-7979 I just got off the phone with the Indy team manager and there's actual talk about a real Independent Hot Rod 1935/36 truck being built for the next ASR trade show that will celebrate Indy's 30th anniversary next year. We just have to talk the powers in hand ( the Boss) into making this happen and convince them that their dollars spent on this project will be worth the time and effort for their own business (skateboarding that is). If this really happens, this truck will be bitchen and you know it will be ...built to grind thanks again for your continued support, it's very much appreciated. CAB
SWEEEEET! I am ordering one right away. The Gonz shirt is rad too. I always loved his oddball art style!
i dig the design, and i support my pals. i'll buy as soon as they are up for sale. bad ass.. -scott noteboom
Coupe Tell Fausto that it has to be made! Also tell him I said hi. Have Fun, Fred Blood Way old X-Factory Indy Rider
this one's pretty cool as well VintageDragClub wish i could...Fausto RIP. Scott thanks, i'll let you know when they come in. Big A yea, that was awhile ago, that it wouldn't happen, but then they got bacl on the ball and made it happen. seventeenseconds Do you think Indy should pay him? If they paid the person who owned the truck, then i guess they'd have to pay the photographer who took the actual photo, then actually pay the magazine in which it was printed from ...just for using it as a reference for a drawing, that could get mighty costly, don't ya think? T-shirts aren't really money makers in this business ( especially limited edition tees), unless your a popular music band that everyone loves and your on a huge rock tour. Oggie sorry, they'll only come in S-XL, thanks for inquiring though. negativeMatt i think the team manager already has one lined up.
