A New/Old Mopar project.....

    As if I need to add to the list of cars to complete! Last week I dug this out of storage. Its been sitting since 92.

    A battery,shot of gas in the carb and the old poly 318 fired right up.

    Oh! Sorry to gloat but I still feal giddy when I remember that I gave an old hippy in Barstow, Calif. $50 for this thing back in 1988.

    By the way, if you look under the p***enger door you can see its Cat Powered !

    Or is that, Powered by *****? HMMM........I'm not sure....

    Heres some pics of My 68 Post car.
    My Son and I did all the fab work on it. Rear clip morrison front clip Cris Alston. Rear 430 Dana 60 with ladderbars - front Must rack with coil overs. Trans is 727 cheetah reverse man vlvbdy.The rest is stock with borgwarner rebuild parts. ATI 8" converter. I built the manifolds for the Hilborn Injectors so they would stand up straight. I made the valley cover that goes to 2 puke tanks - Headers - oil pan - cooling sys - fuel tank and GM 1 wire alt bracket. My Son did the tinwork inside firewall-floors - doorpanels and rear deck. I made the dashboard. All from 20 ga alum. We also did all the beadrolling.
    Motor is a 060 over 440 stock crank - BME alum rods - JE flattop pistons
    Stage 6 Mopar heads - RAS roller rockers - 685 Crower roller and lifters.
    ***an oil system. We run it in N/SS 10.00 index. It runs consistant 9.96 to 10.06 at 132 with a best 60 ft of 1.32 with no transbrake on 10" tires.
    My Son used to drive this Car to highschool from 90 to 92 with a mild 440 in it. We have a blast with the car.Since We did a complete makover 2 yrs ago its been totally trouble free Gas and GO. These pics are at CHRR Famosa and Mission Raceway in B.C Canada FEDER

    OK Youre turn I love Darts. Thats really cool havin a GS Dart. Bet thats one rare car.
