Sorry for not introducing myself so far. Shame on me. But doing it now. I'm Lukas, 32, coming from the "Holledau", 50km north of munich. I'm into old cars, bikes and scooters since almost ever. Started with 16 with old scooters and I'm in the scooter scene ever since. Did old mercedes benz with my dad, which are still around. There are two 220 S from 1958. One coupe and one convertible, which we are restoring at the time. Last year I finally had the time and money and found an affordable 1929 Model A coupe with rumble seat. The car i always wanted for years with the intention to build a hot rod on my own. Started with the stock Model A in pretty good condition did the flashers, electricity, lowering and so on. I will do a build thead also. There will be more details and pics then. It's almost done, but not ready for the street, but only painting of the 16" wires needs to be done and then i'll hope to get it through the german TÜV. Original Banger will stay in there 'till winter and then I'll put a Model B Banger in it. Already have it, but still needs to be hopped up. Enough said. Here are some pics of the car, how it looks at the time.
Welcome. Need any help, give me a ring. I'm not far from you. I like your car, its great. You know you can get over 100hp out of that banger. Take a trip up to David in Neunkirchen if you want to see some 100 + HP bangers. Ed
Hey Ed, thanks for your nice reply. We already talked on the phone. Talked about the lowering in the rear, where you told me, that the reversed eyes will not bring the *** low enough. Want to visit you anyway the next time. Think about middle/end of june, but will give you a call then. We talked about the quarter windows of a chevy. You said, they fit the A door frame. Those were quarter windows out of a 55 chevy, weren't they?
