I'm doing tung oil on the bed wood.

It takes a month to cure, so I'm getting a head start...

Looks like your getting them fixed. After a little grinding and some blasting, you can bolt them on and straighten them out. Good job.

you got it,3/4 ply and 4x2.large hole to get the dolly through fender stands bare 002.JPG fender stands bare 003.JPG
mounted them with wood screws and body washers.all repairs were done on the stands, welding filling, sanding etc.made them a comfortable height to work on sitting on a stool but put the stand on a table as well.

  18. Looks like the rear fenders will work out okay. Had a friend stop by yesterday, and he asked if I was going to make one out of two of the '34 fenders I have. Told him my plan was to save both sets. Your post gives me the confidence. Also appreciate the fender jig shots.

Very simple, cheap and handy. Consider it stolen. Thanks!

glad to help.keep the 3/4 ply centre in the width of the fender so it will be balanced when you work on it and move it about.you will need two a left and a right .good luck

BTW, I'm looking for good instructions on how to assemble the bed.

I don't know what to assemble first, what to weld, where to weld, etc.

    Thanks,
    Rich
