I joined the HAMB about a year ago, since then I have not had time to keep upto date with yall also one minor problem my computer was down which brought me down, but I am up again and it is as you all know a long task building the 62 Falcon into a G***ER, I have removed the stock frontend and aquired a I-Beam axle that Thorkle and I pulled out of the mud from a guys back yard, I think it is a 63 or so Ford half ton axle, the ol'boy that I purchased it from said it was a Econoline 63-64. Does any one know the difference? Anyway took it all apart and starting to clean it all up so that I can get it narrowed. Does any one know if anybody in the DFW area does that narrowing stuff and does it right? Well that is it for now, go ahead and make fun of me and give me a bad time for being the old newbie, I just wouldn't feel right if you didn't.
When you go buy new kingpins you'll find out about what year it is. If yours have O-rings on the top and bottom, it is 60-63, if not, it's 64-66. I'm doing the same thing.
