a pinstriping question???

    i'm striping some plexi panels and i'm having a problem with static....every time i put the brush near the plastic,it wants to go haywire...any suggestions?...thanks,george [​IMG]
     
  2. George:Take a paper towel and wet it.Then wipe down the BACK side of the plexi.It should remove the charge.If not wring it out a bit and run it lightly across the front of the panel.

  4. If ya got that plexi at a distributor, there's a product by Novus that is a anti-static spray. It helps!

    I even tried Static Spray for clothes and stuff. It creates a greasy surface. But ya can paint over it and when the paints dry, then you can wipe the panel clean.

    good to know...thanks for the tips..the wet paper towell did the trick on this one [​IMG]...the funny thing is,this is the first time i've ever had a problem with it in the two years i've dabbled with striping
