I would love to see pics of all of the hambers cars chosen to be in the finals, in one place before the magazine comes out. Do you think R&C would mind if you post the pics you sent in to them? If not maybe another shot of the cars? Thanks, David
So, I guess you did not get the Email David? To bad it would have been cool to see you in the Ego-Rama, and it even takes off from your area (Nor-cal). Chris Nelson Kansas
Nope, I did not get picked. I am sort of relieved though. I would have had a tough time doing both Bonneville and the Rama. Vern is running a car this year and we would not have had the time to fix all of the little things I have been putting off doing on the car until later. I am very happy for the guys who did make it and I look forward to seeing how they do. Thanks, David
Sorry that you didn't make it Monster, hope I get a chance to meet you at B'ville. I have emailed Ryan and asked him if it would be ok to put together a post with pic's of all the HAMBERS cars that are in the Semi-Finals to post when the voting starts. Hopefully he will agree to keep it at the top so that everyone who wants to can support their favorite HAMBER. Haven't gotten a response yet but we all know that he's got a lot on his plate. Here is a pic of my partially completed car. It's getting a top and interior as we speak. Here is another. This one is my favorite. B B
ELpolacko, My "other" car is a '61 unibody. Mine looks nothing like yours though. I would be embarrased to post a pic of mine after seeing yours. Later, David
[ QUOTE ] The only truck in the running, [/ QUOTE ] If that's the case you'd better polish those wheels Beeeawtch!! Is Len doing his magic?
Love the truck EL P, can I talk ya into carring spare parts in case the fresh ride breaks down? Bob: that 5 window rules. Loudpedal: Maybe you could tow me at the drags, with that hemi and my little inliner I might be able to post a respectable time. We need to get 36 couper and wayfarer to post their pics on this thread to complete it. B B
Here's my wayfarer. I never thought I'd make the semi-finals. It has a built 440/727 and a 9". In the upholstery shop this week. Actually, I don't know if I'll be able to go now. I'm in the interview process of a new job.

We'll figure it out if we get in. If I can't go, my dad may go without me. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so far away, but that's a long time to be gone. Don't worry, if the car gets picked, it'll be there.

[/ QUOTE ] Hey man, lets throw a chain on the back of this thing and we'll giver a shot! Has anyone here done the Ego Rama before? It would be cool to hear some first-hand stories about what happened!
