a profanity question

I am a little confused (as normal). I was so bored that I started reading the HAMB rules again today.

Rules:
1. No profanity in subject lines

So question is: If there is no profanity allowed in subject lines, how can the main discussion forum be called; Hockey A$$ Message Board. I think it is a great rule. However, it kind of contradicting.

ass isn't a bad word until you combine it with "hole"

 

If an occasional "bad" word upsets you, the HAMB is not the right place for you.

The no profanity in the subject line exists because Ryan's service provider wont allow it.

 

What's profane about ass?

Heck,the word ass is used in scripture on more than one occasion.

It's called The Hokey Ass Message Board because who would subscribe to The Hokey Donkey Message Board and besides hockey is a game we play up here. So what are really trying to say?

You are correct, but that is the King James version. The original Greek and Hebrew did not use the "bad" word
