Call me simple but I'd take this over the Lincoln any day.

"12 examples of such vehicle where manufactured by Lincoln Motor Company in 1938, this one is the only one known to exist today."

That means the other 11 will be on ePay next week...

It is a nice looking automobile.

You can spot a lot of Zephyr influence.

A lot of Zephyr and a lot of earlier Lincoln K-series. Pretty 3 window though.

  14. I'm with ya, fur biscuit. That grill kinda reminds me of a mid-50's Mercedes Benz.

Not to suggest that they should be hot rods, but here are some other cars that have some of the same swoopy appeal as the Lincoln (they happen to all be Mercedezzz):

I think that Benz pictured above would make the perfect G***ER!!!! (not).

Not every car need to be an ***dragger, g***er, or hot rod.

Some cars are fine just the way they are.

I swear some of you guys live in a vacuum.

Well, you could lose the chrome grille shell, perhaps (but not necessary) lose the padded top and finish paint it, lower the car all around about 2", and go retro chrome wires with blackwall tires of the appropriate size and sidewall protrusion. If the wires didn't work out then what's on it w/out the trim rings would also get it done. Then you still have a basically undisturbed true american cl***ic. I think it sits way to high, perhaps a euro or overseas treatment? I've seen more of these things than I may even care to remember.
