We drove the wagon today and met up with the Early Ford V8 club for a cruise and a Christmas dinner. HRP

 

Dusted her off for a December ride in Michigan today also

 

We in the north deal with the colder climate beacause we CAN.

yep, they do a nice job with the event. i was parked just on the right in that photo the week before.

 

been in the 50's all last week here in Omaha, so I went out for some shots, note the year on the school.

 

I took the coupe out again for the last time I think that makes five last time runs. Snow in forecast for this weekend so once the salt***** hits the road that will be it. Cold today but nice sunshine.

Sorry I missed this thread, I was in the Caribbean on a cruise Took my last ride at the end of October. Old Chevys look great near covered bridges! This is one from my last ride.

 

i just needed to drive another 3 hours north east and i could have been there.
i wonder how many covered bridges are between you and me?

 

My wife and I got in a 140 mile cruise Sunday, it was in the mid 50s. No pictures, not much to see in north west IL this time of year.
It rained off & on all day Monday, and only got into the very low 30s Tuesday. Was also cold today, and they are calling for snow Friday night. Winter has arrived in northern IL.
Happy we got that last ride in Sunday. Gene

 

I know of six if you come up through southwestern NH. Sounds like a road trip for next summer

Has good descriptions of each bridge and whether or not they are open to traffic or just for walking across.

 

They put the liquid salt on the roads yesterday for the 1/2 inch were are supposed to get saturday so all of mine will not be leaving the driveway for some time now.

 

i wanted to take the car out today before the storm hits here tomorrow....... officially put away for the winter.

One of these days I hope to live in a area where this is no longer a problem,unless it rains and gets warmer I am done for the year and just tinker in the garage and when its too cold for that I will be in the basement working on 1/25 scale versions.

Went to a get together with the "Kingpins CC" last Saturday in Haverhill, Mass. Been cold all week, and now it's snowing- CLOSED FOR THE SEASON!!

I'm driving the Fairlane up to Denver today. Its getting a AOD and new Sports Coupe interior for Christmas. WE have not really had snow yet but it is going to be a bone chilling 61 degrees So I need to wear a lite jacket over my T shirt

I wish he'd send some of that bone chilling 61 degrees my way. It's low 30s here and my white lawn now matches my white house.

 

Yep, one of these days it's gonna snow here, just not today.
