Very nice!...I think I'd lower it and run 7:00's in the rear.

I run 4:50-5:00X16 fronts and 7:50X16 rears. You'll have to lower your suspension otherwise it will really look like a 4-wheel drive. Nice car though..I also like the black sedan delivery in the background.....

From my point of view, everyone's tall!

The New Zealand quickies come from a guy called Derek Thomason and work out to around $1400 USD.

VERY nice! Thanks for the pics! Yes, I DO think the larger rear tires is a good idea.

i second the taller tires in the rear. other thing i'd do is move those teardrop taillights up and outward a little. looks kinda odd hanging off on the bottom like that. other than that it looks like a hella fun ride. i like how it's so jacked up...

    Yep.

They are a friction shock, but the not cheap ones from Speedway. Don't know where thay came from. They are a real big ally casting.

I'm not keeping them though, going back to 'A' shocks.

I agree they are in the wrong position as well.

    Basically they are a mess!

They are wonky, not mounted central to the panel, are neither to the edge or tucked into the middle. They are not even mounted level to each other!

I would have never have choosen them but thats what came fitted (Badly) to the car. Its just a matter of time before I get rid of them.

Beautiful car man! That thing is clean, clean, clean. Maybe a smaller tire on the front as well as larger in the rear. Do you plan on keeping the stock axle? Another question, did you do the paint job if so, please tell us about it. Maybe you can bring it to the Duece Reunion in New Bransfels, or to the Round up in Austin, Texas next year.:) Tell your buddies in the UK to send more pics of what ya'll are doing over there. Oh yeah, cheers!:D drink a lager for me.;)

My roadster sat like yours when I first built it. I put on a '32 axle with a reversed spring and 4:50-16 fronts and 7:00-16's rear. Still rides high but now it has an slight "at***ude".

Is that an Ansen trans adapter? It looks like the one I have except mine has Ansen cast on top.

Hahaha yeah pick any town & you are right there!

Actually i'm from a town called Swindon which was originally called Swinehill, the older part of the town is on a hill & had a cattle market but was mainly trading in pigs hence the name Swinehill........i guess i should change it to Swineville! ;-)

I got some really good leads from when I posted this.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106429

I haven't followed anything up yet as I've been concentrating on getting the thing on the road.

Got a BIG box from Saturn today so thats given me a big leap forward.

Yeah, I've spoken to Mike a couple of times this week and he said he was getting a ****-load of stuff out to you. It made me feel silly just asking for a gasket!
