Customs A.S.S. '49 Chevy Magazine truck

Is Skip, the owner of the blue Chevy 3100 on the cover of the magazine I saw at Walmart last night a HAMBer? Anybody have more pictures? the Austin Speed Shop site only has parts of it.

Dang that is nice. got very similar paint on my Harley...rest of the truck is just as stunning. Well deserved

 

I was wondering what the darker blue paint is...a stock color?

 

DAMN...thats a NICE truck!!!!!!!

 

The color is a custom mix blue, mixed and sprayed by Hot Dog. It does belong to Skip. His dad bought the truck new in 1949....we'll post up the full story on the truck this week.

What a great video, seeing Bob blast around the corner with all the other bitchen cars that were "built" on the HAMB is really cool to see! Living the dream....

Eventually... the ACE Hardware spray paint is easy to "touch up" and I kinda like not having to be careful around it though.

Everybody put in a lot of hard work on this truck. The detail and finish work that Todd did really makes it. It's that last 5% of a build like this that makes the difference.

For all of you West coasters, since you won't get to see it in Texas, I think we're going to bring it to the GNRS in January.
