Since we're back from the dead, here's a better trick than JB Weld: valve lapping compound. I've since put lapping compound on the ****erflies and worked 'em until they sat flush. Works like a charm! ~Jason

I will try this myself and also use the throttle blade sealer (DAG) from this site- www.pontiactripower.com - they also have rebuild kits and parts. .. .
