Thanks Hoptup Jalop. I love it too! I saw it last year and it was in the middle of being photographed with a model and when I came back it was gone. I got a few ok shots this year, but nothing really killer - hopefully next year I will.

Thanks also sodbuster, Mick and BubbaC for your visits too. Thanks Nads for visiting even if you find me irritating. More coming tomorrow.

Something I ordinarily would not do is take a photo like this with the trunk open, but I liked it otherwise so here it is.

    You're a photographer, not a car guy.

Does anyone know definitively what this one is?

Killer pictures as always Dan! If you are in Salina again this next summer I would like to spend some time shooting along side of you to pick up some tips.

The grill is a 38-39 Ford Truck I already knew that. That does not necessarily mean the truck is. I was hoping someone who knew that actual truck would know. Thanks anyway - despite your sarcasm for the help and and you too Hoptup Jalop.

You can't glean a damn thing with what little you've shown of it, no one can.

Again - I kinda know that. I didn't get a more complete picture of it. What I am hoping for is that someone who actually knows ( or owns) that particular truck will blunder into this thread and give me the low down on it. I probably should have been more clear when I posted the question in the first place.

The wheels on this El Camino may not be welcome by HAMB standards but the rest of this El Camino was pretty nice.

How about some pointers on shooting great car photos. Plus any adjustments made to them on computer. I love your photos and can’t even come close to taking shots like yours. The depth and colors are really nice.

    I have a Nikon D60, 18 – 55 mm.

    Again GREAT photos!!

Thanks EDPACECAR - I will PM you about that. Thanks Hoptup Jalop - that will be very much appreciated.

This is what happens when you are a little bored with the picture and start messing around with all sorts of crazy effects. So here it is, for better or worse. I will probably do a more normal one later.
