A THANKS to everyone in Austin!

Y'all (and I say that in salute to Texas, this time)--

I want to thank all the HAMB folks who made it out to our very first GARAGE gal Of The Year party at the Austin Speed Shop. Your continuing support is appreciated and we wanted to show that as only we could during the car show weekend.

It was alot of work in the making, but Kat Von D--the GGOTY--was astounded at the response when she got up on stage and Jesse handed her the one-off tattoo machine trophy made by Texas' own Todd Hlavaty.

Thanks also to the Thunderbolts C.C.--they held the whole place together and kept it all under control. Hell, they didn't even let ME in when I rolled up in a rented SUV. And I'm proud of that, really.

Nashville Pussy brought the house down with the help of Honky and if y'all saw Ruyter's guitar solo, you know exactly what I'm talking about!

I've heard a few choice comments about the fact that this was an invite-only party. Well, when you're serving free hard liquor and featuring two ass-kicker bands in a working speed shop...hey, do I need to say anything more about that?

If we didn't see you this year, I hope we see you next year. It's only gonna get BETTER!
