have to "state" the obvious, the idea to get together is great - but, everyone being able to agree on a date, location, who is going to c0-ordinate it all, etc will be a challenge, to say the least - how about everyone support events that had to be postponed and will be trying to reschedule, etc ? - not just attend but, actually volunteer to help whoever is putting the show on - just being able to get out on the road for a local day long cruise together would be such a drastic change from what we are experiencing now might fill the bill for now (whenever the new now will be)

Adding to what I proposed, I feel this should be as casual and perhaps "unofficial" as possible. Some would work at events that were rescheduled, some might be "...and we're all gonna hang out at..." type of a thing. I don't see collecting registration forms, fees, organizing for charity or non-profit gigs, but there's nothing wrong with that either. We have multiple "_____ Cruise" events in the greater Detroit area, with Woodward obviously the biggest. Converging like a bunch of the hoodlums we fancy ourselves as might just be the spice of life we'll need by then. The night before the official events is always the best time anyway and there's that magic to rolling around on a summer night in the hot rod. Also, in keeping with the unofficial idea, bring whatever ya got. Hot rod not done? Bring your best "other" car. This should be about who WE are as much as what we share in the way of HAMB friendly schtick, but I'd think little to no demand otherwise. At least you can share your quarantine stories and enjoy our bretheren regardless.
