The Hammers Car Club of Sweden hosted their third Back to the 50's Weekend show this weekend. Being held in an old "Folkepark" from the 30's this show really has the right atmosphere. Trying to keep this a small and hardcore show, there isn't much marketing material around telling people about it! Nobody knows either when the next show will take place...

Below is some pictures I took during the weekend. A full coverage will be found in an upcoming issue of Kustomra'mag..... I really hope this wouldn't help the show grow :)

SuperFleye, do you sell prints? I really dig the third and fourth from the top (Warhawks and Spitfire).

I was thinking the same thing. The colors are great and the background is very clear, well focused.

how do you get that technicolor feel do you filter the pics through the computer or just use old camera and film? they look awasome...

GEBHARD, I use photoshop in order to get that look on the pictures. I adjust each photo manually through my own method, no filter :)

Well you sure do an excellent job of it. Those pictures are just..just...just..oh I don't know, fabulous I guess. Very impressed. It must be somewhat tedious to do that, but the results are excellent.

How the heck did you do to make my coupe look so dirty? Or is it time for me to actually wash it?

Cool pics from a great event.

Haha Magnus B, don't wash it, it looks great :)

  20. Damn, those pics are mesmerising. Sort of a 3D effect. The pic of the cars on the other side of the netting is fabulous. If you concentrate on the netting, the cars unfocus, but if you concentrate on the cars, the netting goes out of focus. Just as in real life (well, to my eyes anyway!):p
    Superb.

That show is so cool, I think they do the right thing when they refuse to advertise it.

I agree, I allmost felt bad for posting pictures from the event, and then help spreading the word about it :)
