A Top Fuel earthquake

    I just found out that my friend Jim Allen was at the drags last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where some humbling history was made.

    It was Kallita against Bernstein. When they got the green, both launched at the same instant and the two fuelers blasted down the quarter as if they were Siamese twins. At the big end, they tripped the lights in unison.

    Both cars ran a 4.47 at 333.

    The track has a device for measuring earthquakes. The track announcer got on the PA and mentioned that according to their measuring equipment, the perfectly-paired p*** had registered a 3.2 on the Richter scale.

  5. Im curious too,, who one? Did the finish lights blow up like that Babe Ruth movie? You know when the sparks from the lights cover the whole intire outfeild.. [​IMG]
