Winner Winner Chicken Dinner is Mark Moriarity.

I’ve come first circle and decided I needed to relive the my profession the last 47 years.

    1938 Dodge D8 Salesman’s Coupe.
Shelving behind the drivers seat for Salesman’s catalogs / literature etc.

    The vision hit me fellas.
The Art Deco Grille and side hood trim is *****in cool.

Posting pics - let me post pics.
This is so ugly cool IMO.

    OLD MOPAR COUPES!

    I approve.

  6. Great first retirement project.
No excuses for not working on it 8 hours a day until it is finished. (Joking)
    Congratulations on the retirement.

Ok - I have a bunch of pics too big off my phone that won’t load. I have to load to my computer and reduce them.

I’ll reduce them and post more.
    Neat huh ?

    @VANDENPLAS to the front desk.
Sure looks lowered. Has it already been rubbed on?
EDIT: Here's a stock one. The centerline of the wheels are even with the running boards.

    Not ugly and definitely cool.
Just like that Christmas Eve when I was 5. I’m not disappointed

    Cool, Cob.

As far as pre-war hot rodding goes, I consider the late '30s as the almost perfect era. The bodies were really well built by then. The frames, too... plenty strong from the factory. And if you get a really nice straight solid and complete one like it looks like you did, you're not reinventing the wheel, just making it better.

I like it! And, as @anthony myrick would say…lucky, it doesn’t even need paint. :D

Super cool, I don't find that ugly at all....and the stance of it sitting on the trailer looks just about right, nice little rake to it. Don't know if it's being held in that squat from being tied down, but that's what I'd shoot for. Congratulations, both on the car and your retirement.

Its got that "flip me over, this sides cooked" look. Cool, have fun with it! Congrats on the retirement. Been 25 years now since they put me out to pasture and one of my greatest pleasures today is watching what kind of stuff you guys drag home and finding out what you plan to do with it. So.....

That is pretty cool. It has a 180 degrees different at***ude than your old white coupe.
