Yes / No. I have not driven driven down the road yet.
Just off the trailer into my shop. Didn't give it time to warm up and with no choke coughed a few times.
It has no exhaust from the manifolds back - But I have Decades Old NOS Smithy's to put on it.
Very cold blooded - Brand spankin' new Edelbrock 600 CFM carb.
I need to check the plugs and prolly just put new ones in.
Steering box leak so I need to kit it.

I've always loved those 38 Dodge coupes ever since I came home from the hospital after being born in Grampa's. My mom wouldn't let him take me home is Dad's 30's willys because it was prone to breaking down me.jpg

Only way it could be cooler is if it had an early Hemi in it.

Not a lot of Fords left these days.

It's good that we have vintage Mopars to work on and comfort us in our old age.

    :D

  23. Made me go do a little searching, though. Interesting.

    Nice car.

Yeah why run the best looking valve covers ever made for that motor. I’ll keep an eye out for some gold moroso covers for him lol

Get it up in the air, nut and bolt it plus check any welds, lube everything, check the tires and run a tank of gas thru it. Then make a list.
I could tell you what I'd change, but I didn't buy it. ;)
From the looks of that garage, you have lots of choices in cruisin' material so it will have to fill some niche the others don't.
    Again, congrats!
