There was a 57 chevy at last years detroit billetproof with the coolest spiderweb interior. I want to know where to find that kind of fabric. Thanks, da Goof
I didn't get any pics of it because I didn't bring my camera (I know, pretty dumb). Damn this fabric was the cats asss!
Not sure if this helps, but around Halloween fabric stores carry "seasonal" fabrics... even in WalMart they carry spooky, skeleton, spiderweb, pumpkin printed material. Maybe this is where he got it. Or search online for Halloween fabric.
Thanks for the tip. I've tried that to no avail. This stuff was primo fabric in there, kind of like something you'd find on high end furniture. Silk brocade? I know somebody else must have seen it, it was the bees knees that's for sure. Flat black 57 chebby.
????? like this? http://www.englanddesign.com/seasonal/halloween_fabrics.htm And this came up first under a Google for "spooky fabric", I'm sure there's tons more out there... It's a pretty cool idea, the more I look at it, the more I feel like stealing your plan! Just kidding, good luck on a search. If somebody makes it, somebody else has put it on the internet, you'll find it.
Stickylifters car was parked next to it... I saw it, I think I know what it is, but I can't find a source. The negative space of the web pattern was printed green on a black fabric background, kinda like an imitation leather.
That car belongs to fellow poorboy Mike Haynes. It'll be at Billetproof 06 and you can ask him yourself. If I have my info straight, he got some sort of lace-like spiderweb fabric at the fabric store around halloween and laid it over the green fabric and then upholstered the car with it.
