Hmmm...I'm out on limb on this one. Most times no music at all, but sometimes I turn on this lil Canadian AM station and they play a **** load of old stuff. Am630 for you locals on here. Sometimes I'll listen to George Gershwin, but mostly for driving to ease my, lately, ****ed up mood (work, life, etc). It reminds me that life is good and **** the nay-sayers and ***holes. For the record though, heavy metal makes me impatient...not good for precision.
These Aussies still get me going, this is what I found on you-tube.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBcZpN05_lk <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/tBcZpN05_lk"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/tBcZpN05_lk" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ktc1n0uD7J4"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ktc1n0uD7J4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/xIypew6g_MY"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xIypew6g_MY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ym016NijZXs"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ym016NijZXs" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
AC/DC always but I can get down with the Defilers,Jerry Lee Lewis,Johnny Cash,Stray cats. For some reason I really like GNR,Godsmack and pantera to get in the cutting and grinding mood and to start slowing down I'll go for some doo wop.
In my cd player today... King's X-cuts from their first 3 albums... Ramones-the new compilation, "Loud Fast Ramones" Black Keys-"The Big Come Up" & "Rubber Factory" AC/DC-"Highway To Hell" Son Volt-"The Search" The Commodores-"Greatest Hits" G.
AC/DC died with Bon. Nothing against Brain Johnson, but he had a tough act to follow. Now I've got all my cd's loaded on my ipod and it's set on shuffle. Metallica Rage-Audioslave Blackflag Primus Chuck berry SRV Social D Sum41 Ministry Tool JJ Cale B.B. King Buddy Guy Muddy Water Cheech&Chong Zepplin Penny Wise Mudvyne Disturbed Blink182 Marylin Manson Slipnot
Didn't AC/DC also make Richard Ramirez (The Night Stalker) want to do things too?....what were those things?....... hhhmmmm!
For me it's Pantera when ya want to just get silly stupid. ZZ Top, SRV, Alice In Chains, C.O.C., BLS, and my all time fav VH w/ DLR!!!!!!!!! KNUX! A little addition to this.....DOWN+Superjoint Ritual= 20 cups of Columbia' finest for the morning crew.
I'm sure glad we're not trying to ***emble a HAMB cd.Myself any Texas rock,The Fab.Thunderbirds,ZZ Top is fine shop music.Sometimes for a change a little relaxing reggea(habit p/u while kickin back on Grand Cayman),even a little Dwyte Yoakum from time to time.Very wide variety,Pedal to the metal-kasyr,Four Horseman.Hell this list could go on foe days.
My theme song,,,, Kid Rock,,, ****y,,,, "they say I'm ****y, but it aint braggin mother ****er if you back it up"
Hey, am I the only one here who doesn't like Ac/Dc????? (can even say that is one of the band that I hate the most......) Sorry!!!!! Blood For Blood Rules!!!!!!!!!!!
This film clip from spiderbait always gets a playing in the shed. Good song not bad clip. ******ed if I know how Cram the drummer/singer managed to stay on a drum stool on the back of a truck and play without loosing his balance. the 36 dodge isnt too bad. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UtqjmuUaYXA"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UtqjmuUaYXA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
It's been Reverend Horton Heat over here, but lately Mike Ness has been helping me wet sand the '50 ! I like his solo stuff as well as Social D Then, as the day gets longer, it's Motorhead!
Hook up the ipod to some speakers with a mix of the of some old rockabilly stuff like Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent, etc, along with some Cash, a little Hank III and Social D and some old school punk like Black Flag, DK, Weirdos, Circle Jerks, Descendents, and I'm good to go. Top it off with some Cramps and I could work 'till I drop.
I do AC/DC NEUROSIS The Melvins Final Conflict D.R.I. Black Sabbath R.K.L. Slayer and The Mentors Working and Driving on Cars or Tattooing.
I'm right there with you on this one. I have a beat old 5 disc CD boom box in the shop. One CD is nothing buy Johnny. I can also go in for some Misfits as well. I don't care how old I get. The Misfits will always be top of my music list.
AC/DC, SRV,Godsmack, Metallica here. Lead singer of Godsmack is a hot rodder..... Pretty much everything listed here is good.... what the hell, let's do a HAMB CD..haha.
I'm on a Highway to Hell..and I'm at the Crossroads..the Red light was my baby and the Green light was my mind....
My sister's were friends of the band from the mid 70's to the mid 80's. I never got to meet them, but my sister did get me all of their autographs.
