twisted sister judas priest dokken the scorpions ozzy THEY ALL RULE that punk **** belongs on ****ing mars.
Hell that would be one laid back hotrod. or would it be a warm rod. I think Il stick to Soundgarden & AC/DC
early black sabbath does it for me... i get more done, with that on. and before i shut the lights off, it's the song, planet caravan, and a gl*** of jack daniels as i'm winding down and checking out what i did. No ****. I thought I was the only one. What is it about that song? I have to hear it 3 or 4 times before i can turn off the radio. Puts me in some kind of trance.
Try Brandi Carlisle. She can really belt it out. Kasey Chambers is great, too. Kathleen Edwards rocks, as does Lucinda Williams. Love chick who can rock. Tift Merrit is cool, too.
I find certain bands for me to be essential to listen to when I'm working on my cars: AC/DC especially High Voltage & Dirty Deeds Anthrax Black Sabbath Iron Maiden Social Distortion Rev Horton Heat
the reverend horton heat, the sultry sounds of los straight jackets, and anything that you can jam real loud(pantera, tool, metallica, mudvayne, killswitch engage)
AC/DC works for me too but not on my playlist at the moment. Currently it's stuff like: Godsmack Korn System of a Down Limp Bizkit Metallica Linkin Park Marilon Manson Rob Zombie Holy Mother Iced Earth Even at work when doing my programming stuff I work best with the above blasting in my earphones.
the god damn SUPER****ERS the Rev S.C.O.T.S early Beastie boys and aussie bands the Fireballs Six Foot Hick SinShifters as well as many already listed
The Reverend Horton Heat, Metallica, Drive by Truckers, Outlaws, Marshall Tucker...........all southern rock.
Thanks man. His music rocks. I guess I had a brain fart. I couldn't remember that for nothing. Anyway, I also listen to Elvis, Johnny Cash, Reverend Horton Heat, Hank III, Godsmack, Jerry Lee Lewis, Muddy Waters, Nashville *****, and several more.
Working on my cars, I need some good ol' traditional rockabilly like The Mean Devils Hi Strung Ramblers Omar Romero Jack Baymoore and the Bandits Eddie & the flatheads Santos Wildfire Willie & the Ramblers Johnny Cash Ruby Ann +++ And to blow some dust of the old speakers.... I play some Kings of Nuthin'
I have to have music around me no matter what I'm doing, music is an integral part of my existence! METAL... Sabbath. Ozzy. Judas Priest. Halford. Anthrax. Alice Cooper. Megadeth. Queensryche. 60's blues, hot rod, surf... Eric Burdon. Jethro Tull. Beach Boys. Jan and Dean. AUSSIE... AC/DC Alchemist Buffalo. Rose Tattoo Easybeats. That'll do for now, I've got hundreds of CD's! Cheers, Glen.
I get motivated by early surf music (and I'm not talking the *#$@^& beach boys). **** Dale and the Deltones, The Ventures and many no name Garage bands.
"Frampton Comes Alive" I built my first car,68 Dodge Coronet 500, to that album. I listened to it over and over and I never did or do get tired of hearing it.
