Thanx. Sounds good to me. Isn't that the stuff that walk-in coolers are made with, sandwiched between two thin layers of aluminum or SS?

Some brands and idea's that I have never heard of before. This is a good thread.

  3. Since you mentioned you were putting in Audi seats (non traditional), go all out and put in cooled seats...greatest invention since sliced bread.

The cheepist way to do AC for hotrod= Go take a cl*** on AC repair****=To fully under stand how AC works! Than go to a junkyard or just buy a cheep car with working AC that has a cab space about or bigger then your car. Take that set up out an put it in your car. In the long run, you'll be ahead an know how to keep it cooling.

Vintage Air..I installed in my Shoebox Bus Coupe..Evaporator is mounted on the floor behind front seats..Air is directed to flow under each seat and between the seats..Once the car cools down fan can run on low with temp control almost to off..Shifter turns into an icicle..Been running for 16 yrs with no issues or charging required..Pic of evaporator and lines to rear..And the heater part works well also..
