I like that "8" on the heel. Hope there is one under the hood to match.

Sure looks a lot better than what was on our wagon when we got it. HRP

I don't know why you would want to get rid of that nice barn hinge gas pedal. I'll bet you wouldn't see many barn hinge gas pedals at car shows, except for maybe a rat rod show.

The barn hinge gas pedal might be worth a fortune at a rat rod swap...Gene

The hinge came off a falling down barn close to Lake Murry where my father in law was fishing and the gas pedal broke, he pried it from a broken door and made it work to get back home.

After we restored the wagon I realized the barn door hinge just didn't work with a nice interior but I did keep the hinge and it's hanging on a nail in the garage, Clyde installed the barn door hinge back in the 70's out of necessity to get home, long before anyone ever heard of a rat rod. HRP

I might have to post it on Ebay and see

I'm actually thinking of adding a hinge to a gas pedal right now! The original one was totally rusted into a glob of rust.

  13. The barn hinge works better than a nice, chrome s**** I bought years ago and just now tried to locate on my truck's floorboard. Loosey goosey. Barn door hinges have to take a beating for decades in the worst conditions. I'll bet Clyde had spent some barn door time, enough to know he could rely on that hinge when it was needed somewhere else. Cool story.

Sewing machine no. A drum or a band instrument is more likely.

I actually have a few of them....we’re cleaning up the old stuff in the attic at work. Unfortunately, we don’t do any sewing here anymore......
