What is the interchange for 1954 Chevy 3100 spindles? I see some references in the king pin selections to 47-54 and other references (spindles) for 51-59.

Went to pull the GF's spindles on her '54 3100 to change king pins/bushings and the last ***-hat to do them peened the top and bottom of the spindle over where the retaining clip should be...the one holding the dust covers on. It's all just mashed steel.....nice. The tapered pins aren't coming out either so it's likely we'll be pulling the entire axle for surgery.

I'm looking for stock spindles and there seems to be plenty for the cars but not the trucks.

Any sources for new stock spindles?

Any good sources for good originals?

    Thanks!

Put an ad on craigslist- there are a lot of trucks with the axle being pulled out to put in IFS. If that does
not work PM me, I think I have an extra set.

'41-'59 1/2 ton will all work. Pre '51 parts the lower 4 backing plate/steering arm holes have to be drilled out to 1/2".
