This winter so god will, this ones gonna get alive again.
Got '39 axles,wheels & trans for it and '41 truck engine, canadian heads, 2x2 navarro racing with name ground off, potvin 3/4 and lightened Flywheel with 11" clutch. It's gonna be like an early stockcar from the late '40s.

Here's my current ride. It is a blast to own and ride.

 

Here's a shot of my 55 OLds, you all know, in my driveway, where all the work on it had been done, even before it was chopped. Must be circa 1981 or 2. I was still using red lead back then!

 

Now, 20 some odd years later, a shot from Sledscene East, in Gettysburg. Kustom7777 (Where the hell is he?) took this picture of me accepting the Barris Award. Barris, me, and Jerry Titus, Blaine Kaufman next to him. The highlight of my life!

 

Trading my 48 Plymouth for my 31 Ford Coupe in Holbrook AZ. That's the middle point between Modesto and Dallas!

The day I brought the 56 home from Alabama. Just got it loaded up... boy did I cry on the way home... I still miss my Jeep


Here is what I gave up to get it (traded it for the 56 also..one of the many Jeep runs in southern Missouri)

 

Here is my 51 Chev. It is coming along slowly. I had it running the other day. Over the summer I finally got the 1956 235 and Saginaw 4 speed in. The brakes are all rebuilt and bled.. but damn if I can't get it going again. No spark. Would love to work on it today but is 15 and snowing ... Thanks to all of you who have given great advice and parts to a struggling beginner. Hodad.
