Hot Rods Adding dual master Cyl for Disc/Drum on a 46 Ford?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by hotrodbob, Mar 2, 2022.

  1. Brakes are in need of replacement on the wife's 46 Ford Sedan. Figured it's a good time to switch to front disc. Speedway has a kit for the front, but no idea what master cyl to run when I use the manual trans. They have a mount kit for the master and brake pedal, but it wont work with a clutch pedal in the way. Thought I'd use a Corvette master like I have on my Plymouth coupe, but it just bolted up. Not so easy on the Ford as the Master cyl in the car has a 3 bolt flange. What are you running and what did you have to change?

    Thanks for the help.
