Hot damn, come on down. Make the Continental Club one of your first stops after you get unpacked and just take it from there. Donate your parka and heavy sweaters to some charity 'cause you won't need them here. I've lived here for over 30 years and only own a couple of light jackets! I'm actually looking forward to going out shopping in a few minutes because I'll get a chance to wear one of the really cool ones and that only happenss a couple of dozen times a year. It is a good idea to move here at this time of the year so you can get used to the summer heat and kind of ease into it. Welcome to Austin, please do your part to help "Keep Austin Weird" as we say here.

  5. Damn, what took you so long!?

Left Jersey 18 years ago and haven't seen a State Trooper since.

Welcome to Texas Jim. Your going to like the Austin area. Its my favorite place to visit and they have plenty of hot rods-shops-clubs -great food and damn nice people and for being in Jersey so long you deserve a prize of some sort. I spent 3 months there in the 50's and couldn't wait to get back to Texas. Have a safe trip.

Congrats on the move! seems every one is moving from the east coast or California to the mid west! Its to damn expensive on the coasts, you'll love it there, Austin is the best! why anyone would move from the hart land to either cost would baffle my mind, a waste of time in my eyes. I moved to Kansas City from New York City and never regretted it. If you or who ever is moving your stuff has any trouble on the road in my neck of the woods call and we'll come and help ya!

It's like Austin is where hotrodders go to retire....but not really retire, just work somewhere that it doesn't snow and it's hot as balls most of the year.

Good luck with the move Jim. I bet you'll love the weather a whole lot more than Jersey.

Guess we won't be seeing any Telstar updates for a bit. I'll wait here patiently waiting for them.

Don't blame ya for leaving Dirty Jersey. If it wasn't for family I would leave too.
