Has anyone used adjustable shocks with a leaf spring rear suspension? I was thinking about getting some for the dodge so I can adjust the stiffness of the rearend when pulling a trailer or when loaded with people. The shocks are fairly expensive, so I thought I'd get some input from people who have used this setup. I have a friend with a '38 chevy that is looking to do the same thing.

I wouldn't waste my time, you will set them and never touch it again. Even if it's easy to get to them it still involves getting under the car adjusting all four corners for the weekend and getting back under the dirty car to reset them later.

I had a set of adjustable shocks on my driver once, I set them to hard for road racing and leave them there.

could you just use air shocks for the trailoring aspects?

the nova had the outlets for them run to the back bumper with chrome acorn nuts off tire valve stems covering them.

adjustable, to an extent, and you dont have to get under the car

    just an idea
