Technical ADJUSTING FLATHEAD FORD VALVES

    Someone on the Ford Barn had a problem. No holes in the lifter bores to hold the lifter and the damn adjusting bolts were TIGHT. Johnson lifter wrenches broke. I purchased a nice 274 C I D flathead built. No holes. I made this tool. Drill bit schanks for pins. 2023-05-12 18.07.26.jpg Most likely the tool would break with his lifters. Worked great with Isky lifters in this engine. I did not know how to upload pictures on the Ford Barn.

    here’s a quick step by step.
    Hit “post new thread” or “reply”
    This window will show.

    hit the blue “go advance”*****on
    That will take you to the next window.

    In that window hit the “manage attachment”*****on.
    That will open up to this screen.

    Now hit the “chose file”*****on. That will open up your pictures for you to insert.

    Also, the FordBarn is limited in size of the pic. You may need to resize the file, but years back I didn’t know how, many offered to have me send them the pic via email and they would resize it for me.
